He notes that Obama was the underdog and is now curious if his success will follow a Lauryn Hill or Coen Brothers trajectory. Lauryn won several Grammy Awards, turned kinda nutty and hasn't really been heard from again. The Coen Brothers have had a fairly steady stream of incredible films with few missteps.
