Not the beloved
John Hughes flick, but a classic nonetheless. Welcome to the quaint town of Bisbee, Arizona. Affectionately dubbed "the world's largest open air asylum," the locals tend to be as colorful as the terrain. The town used to be a bustling place of commerce, due to the
Copper Queen Mine. Now it hosts artists, antiques and tourists from every walk of life. It's
definitely something to experience! When in town, a visit to the
Bisbee Breakfast Club is an absolute must. Owners Pat and Heather Grimm know a thing or two about food - they've got 67 years of combined restaurant experience between the two of them! What you'll find is delicious, consistent and
fast meals. "Fast" as in food seems to appear moments after placing an order - with all the hot and fresh ingredients in proper place. That's a blessing when one has "perhaps" overindulged in the small but active "night life." I feel like I've just been hired for
Fodor's with the serious tone of this post. Ha, I should be so lucky. What can I say? Damn good food, every damn time. Where's the joke in that? The funniest thing about the BBC is Heather's lilting voice - she makes me smile.
